Heather and Crauford have been playing shows together since 1998 that have encompassed music from the Baroque period through to modern dance music.   The ability to vary their performance to suit audiences has enabled them to work in many types of venues throughout Europe and the UK. 

Heather and Crauford have now brought this approach to 54 North and through their personal experiences and love of music in the folk, blues, classical and brass band worlds, they have produced high quality compositions played on combinations of: violin, piano, flugel horn, cornet, acoustic guitar, keyboards, electric wind instrument, (EWI), mandolin, voice and stomp boxes.  The constantly changing instrumentation and styles creates a journey on which audiences experience excitement and sadness, love and hate, joy and anger.  This diversity of emotion is coupled with some brilliantly touching playing.
